Free online trigonometry calculator. Compute sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, and cot values. Supports both degrees and radians. Pure frontend math tool.
Sine (sin), Cosine (cos), Tangent (tan), Cosecant (csc=1/sin), Secant (sec=1/cos), and Cotangent (cot=1/tan). They relate angles to side ratios in right triangles.
Degrees divide a circle into 360 parts. Radians use the arc length, where 2Ο radians = 360Β° (a full circle). Ο radians = 180Β°.
Tan is undefined when cos = 0, i.e., at 90Β° (Ο/2) and 270Β° (3Ο/2) in standard orientation. Similarly, csc and sec have points where they're undefined.
The unit circle is a circle of radius 1 centered at the origin. Any angle's trig values can be read directly from its intersection point with the circle.
Trigonometry is used in: navigation, engineering, physics (waves, oscillations), computer graphics (rotation, 3D rendering), astronomy, and architecture.
