This is a built-in browser security feature. When a webpage requests screen recording access, the browser requires you to explicitly choose what to share (entire screen, application window, or browser tab) to prevent unauthorized recording.
The video is saved as WebM format with VP8/VP9 video codec and Opus audio codec. It can be played directly in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and most modern browsers.
There is no recording time limit. However, longer recordings result in larger files β about 1 hour of recording uses approximately 1-2GB of memory. Make sure you have enough free memory for longer recordings.
