❓ Frequently Asked Questions
❓ Do I need to upload my PDF to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser using PDF.js. Your PDF is parsed and processed entirely on your device. No files are uploaded to any server. You can test this by disconnecting from the internet.
❓ What types of PDFs can be converted?
This tool works best with text-based PDFs where you can select text with your cursor. Scanned/image PDFs (documents that are essentially images) cannot be directly extracted. For scanned PDFs, use OCR software first.
❓ What format is the output Excel file?
The tool generates standard .xlsx files (Office Open XML format), compatible with Microsoft Excel 2007+, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, and LibreOffice Calc.
❓ How accurate is the conversion?
For well-structured table PDFs, accuracy is high. However, complex tables (merged cells, nested tables, irregular layouts) may not convert perfectly. Always verify the converted data.
❓ What's the maximum PDF file size?
We recommend PDFs under 20MB. Browser memory constraints may cause issues with very large files. For larger PDFs, use desktop professional tools.
