Yes, the decrypted PDF retains all original content (text, images, formatting, links, etc.) — only the password protection is removed. Decryption does not modify the PDF's substantive content.
You only need the PDF's open password (user password). If the PDF has an owner password but no user password, it can usually be opened and decrypted directly. Owner password is not required.
