Noise texture is a visually generated texture using random algorithms, often used to add depth and natural feel to designs. In UI design, noise textures serve as backgrounds, overlays, subtle texture effects, or add visual hierarchy to flat designs. Perlin noise simulates natural landscapes, clouds, and fire effects.
4 types: ① White Noise: completely random pixel noise, like TV static; ② Perlin Noise: smooth continuous noise, like clouds or terrain; ③ Cloud Texture: soft cloud effect from layered Perlin noise; ④ Marble Texture: flowing texture using sine waves with noise. Each type offers infinite variations through parameter adjustment.
Textures can be downloaded as PNG (supports transparent background). Adjust colors, scale, and density before export. Default resolution is 512×512px, adjustable from 256 to 2048 pixels.
Texture generation runs entirely in the browser Canvas - no network needed. Perlin noise and multi-layer cloud textures are more computationally intensive and may take a few seconds on mobile devices at 1024×1024+ resolution. Desktop recommended for high-quality textures.
