Steel plate weight = length × width × thickness × density. For example, a carbon steel plate with density 7.85 g/cm³ measuring 1000mm × 500mm × 10mm weighs 100 × 50 × 1 × 7.85 = 39250g ≈ 39.25kg.
Round bar weight = π × (diameter/2)² × length × density. For example, a steel round bar with 50mm diameter and 1000mm length has volume = 3.14159 × 25² × 1000 = 1963495 mm³ = 1963.5 cm³, weight = 1963.5 × 7.85 = 15413g ≈ 15.41kg.
