About BMR Metabolism Calculator
How to use the BMR Calculator?
Enter your weight, height, age and gender, select your activity level, then click calculate to get your BMR and TDEE. Uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation (the most accurate BMR formula), with calorie targets for weight loss and muscle gain.
What are BMR and TDEE?
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the calories your body burns at complete rest. TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) is BMR multiplied by your activity factor. To lose weight, eat 500 kcal below TDEE; to gain muscle, eat 250-300 kcal above TDEE.
