What is a WiFi QR Code?
A WiFi QR code encodes your network's connection details into a scannable image. When someone points their phone camera at the QR code, the phone automatically connects to your WiFi — no need to type passwords manually. It's widely used in cafes, restaurants, hotels, co-working spaces, and homes.
WiFi QR Code Generator in 3 steps
- iPhone users: Open the Camera app, point at the QR code, and tap the network name that appears to connect
- Android users: Open the Camera or Google Lens and scan the QR code to get a connection prompt

A hidden SSID means your network name won't appear in the list of available networks. Check this box if your router is configured to hide the SSID. The generated QR code will mark the network as hidden so phones know to connect without broadcasting the name.
What size is the QR code?
The default QR code renders at 300×300 pixels, which works well for most scenarios. The downloaded PNG image can be scaled up further for printing.
