What video formats are supported?▼
All major browser-compatible formats: MP4, WebM, AVI, MOV, OGG. Output is WebM (VP8/VP9). Original resolution, frame rate, and audio are preserved.
How do I extract a segment?▼
1) Upload a video; 2) Set start/end times via slider or manual inputs (min/sec/ms); 3) Click 'Export Segment' — processes locally and downloads. Use the video player to preview your selection.
How precise is the splitting?▼
Supports millisecond precision in the UI. Output precision is limited by the frame rate: ~33ms at 30fps, ~16ms at 60fps. The export aligns to the nearest keyframe for best quality.
Is my video uploaded to a server?▼
No. Processing happens entirely in your browser. Your video never leaves your device. Data is released from memory immediately after processing.
Any tips for large files?▼
Keep extracted segments short for faster processing. Close other memory-heavy browser tabs. Keep this tab active during processing. For very long videos, consider splitting into larger chunks first.
