What video formats are supported?▼
All major browser-compatible formats: MP4, WebM, AVI, MOV, OGG. Output is WebM (VP8/VP9). The crop region is validated against source dimensions automatically.
How do I crop a video?▼
1) Upload a video; 2) Select a preset ratio or enter custom width/height and offset; 3) Click 'Export Video' — it processes locally and downloads automatically. Adjust X/Y offset to position the crop area.
What are the presets for?▼
16:9 for YouTube; 4:3 for presentations; 1:1 for Instagram; 9:16 for TikTok/Shorts; 3:2 for photography; 21:9 for cinematic. Presets auto-center the crop region on the source video.
Is my video uploaded to a server?▼
No. Processing happens entirely in your browser. Your video never leaves your device. Data is released from memory immediately after processing.
Are there file size limits?▼
No hard limits. We recommend under 30 minutes or 2GB. Processing depends on browser memory and CPU. Keep the browser tab active during processing.
