β FAQ
What is unit price and how is it calculated?
Unit price = total price Γ· quantity. For example, a 500g bag of coffee at $15 has a unit price of $0.03/g. Convert to the same unit first, then compare unit prices.
Is buying in bulk always cheaper?
Not necessarily. While bulk packages usually have a lower unit price, sales and promotions can sometimes make smaller packages cheaper. Use this tool to find the best deal automatically.
What units are supported?
Weight (kg, g, lb, oz), volume (L, mL, gal), and count (pieces, dozen) are supported. Items with different units are automatically converted to a common base for fair comparison.
