Calculate your take-home pay after social insurance, housing fund, and personal income tax deductions. Based on China's latest cumulative withholding tax method.
This payroll tax calculator is based on China's latest Individual Income Tax Law (cumulative withholding method) and the "five social insurances and one housing fund" policy. It accurately calculates your actual take-home pay after deducting social insurance, housing fund contributions, and personal income tax. Supports major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Chengdu with their respective social insurance contribution rates. Special deductions cover six categories: children's education, continuing education, major medical expenses, housing loan interest, housing rent, and elderly care support.
China's personal income tax threshold is ¥5,000 per month (¥60,000 annually). Income exceeding ¥5,000 per month is subject to personal income tax.
Implemented since 2019, this method calculates tax based on cumulative annual income, eliminating year-end tax adjustments and ensuring more accurate monthly withholding.
The social insurance base is typically the employee's average monthly salary from the previous year, capped at 300% and floored at 60% of the local average social wage.
