What does this OCR tool do?

This is an online OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tool powered by Tesseract.js. It extracts text from images in JPG, PNG, or WebP format. Supports English and Chinese language recognition. All processing runs locally in your browser — images never leave your device. Language packs (~4MB for English, ~10MB for Chinese) are downloaded automatically on first use and cached.
