How to calculate mulch quantity?
Mulch quantity = Area × Depth. For example, a 10×3 ft flower bed with 3 inches depth: volume = 30 × 0.25 = 7.5 cubic feet ≈ 0.28 cubic yards. You can then calculate weight based on mulch density.
What is the recommended mulch depth?
