FAQ

How many days between two dates?

Enter a start date and end date, and this tool calculates the exact gap. For example, Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2025 = 365 days. It computes the millisecond difference divided by 86,400,000 (milliseconds per day).

How to count working days between two dates?

This tool iterates through every day in the range and counts Monday-Friday as weekdays, Saturday-Sunday as weekends. To exclude public holidays, subtract them manually from the weekday count.

Is the start date included in the count?

This tool calculates the interval between dates (exclusive of the start date). To include either the start or end date, add 1 to the result.

Why are months approximate?

Months vary from 28 to 31 days. We use the standard average of 30.44 days/month (365.25 Γ· 12) for approximation. Spanning over a year also introduces leap year effects, so months and years are estimates only.
