How do I calculate concrete for a slab?
Volume = Length × Width × Thickness. Imperial: yd³ = L(ft)×W(ft)×T(in)÷324. Metric: m³ = L(m)×W(m)×T(cm)÷100.
How many bags per cubic yard?
60 lb bags ≈ 27/cyd (0.45 ft³ each). 80 lb bags ≈ 20/cyd (0.6 ft³ each).
How many rebar pieces are needed?
Typically 1 rebar per foot of slab width, minimum 2 pieces. Consult a structural engineer for actual projects.
